Troubleshooting.

The most common issues and the fastest fix for each. If none of these solve it, email hello@orba.work.

Invitations and email

Invitation email never arrived
  1. 1.Check the spam folder — first emails often land there.
  2. 2.Confirm the address in Settings → Members → Pending. One typo and the email goes nowhere.
  3. 3.Resend from the Pending list. Resends use a fresh signed link.
Password reset email is stuck
  1. 1.Wait two minutes — corporate inboxes can lag.
  2. 2.Try a different address if you have multiple.
  3. 3.Email hello@orba.work and we'll reset manually.

Boards and cards

I can't move a card
  1. 1.Refresh the page — a stale session can drop the WebSocket connection.
  2. 2.Check your role. Guests can't move cards.
  3. 3.Try a different browser to rule out an extension blocking drag events.
Changes from a teammate aren't showing up
  1. 1.Check the connection indicator (top-right). If it's red, your tab lost real-time.
  2. 2.Reload the tab. Cards rehydrate within a second on a healthy network.
  3. 3.If multiple teammates are stuck, check status.orba.work.

Performance

The board feels slow
  1. 1.Close other heavy tabs — the editor and a video call together can saturate memory.
  2. 2.Disable browser extensions for orba.work and reload.
  3. 3.Clear the site cache: Settings → Privacy → Clear data for orba.work.
Search is empty when I know the card exists
  1. 1.Search is scoped to projects you can see. Confirm you're a member of the project.
  2. 2.Newly created cards take a second or two to be indexed.
  3. 3.Try the card title verbatim — partial matches need at least three characters.
